We currently run a Trumpf Fiber Laser 2030, and we are using their old version, default "TruTops" nesting software. We have had our quarrels with the software anything from UX to customer support being more clueless than us when diagnosing issues. But now we are facing a bug in the software that is throwing random variables in the NC program print out where we show individual part data.
It seems as if it is throwing a time variable randomly on print outs in different areas. For example, in the box where it should display the number of pieces of a individual part on the sheet, instead it displays a random time value that does not apply to anything. It is always a time value, and it shows up randomly on some parts within a nest. Some part's info is correct, yet some may have a random time value in the weight value box, or minimum blank dimensions box.
This is frustrating as we use these printouts to quote and price jobs. If we can't rely on the data then we need another option for pricing our laser work. Frankly I am not much as our experience with the software side of this company has been less than beneficial.
