Forgive my broken english, I meant the outer cable. There Is nothing wrong with using it the way it is, but because of the crappy repair by the previous owner, a machine shop no less, it will be impossible to take it apart to perform any repairs without having to replace the whole thing. It works the way it is, and I don't feel compelled to replace everything from the rollers out to the end of the nozzle to do a job that can be more efficiently accomplished by this the Westingarc with the spoolgun.

The liner comes out the end of the gun where it goes into the machine. Usually one set screw holds it in and then it slides out. No taking apart of the gin necessary.

I know that, they screwed up the cable to the point that you can't get it apart without wrecking it. I know how to take one apart.
