I hope this isn't a re-post. I couldn't find it with the search function.
This popped up on my Youtube feed. It's a fully automatic structural steel welding machine. Adds foot plates, tabs, hangers, internal reinforcement, etc, all robotic and automatic. A lot of capital, but it must really churn out a lot of structural steel. You'll probably want to turn down the volume a bit.

An aside, I thought the beams in the factory columns were interesting as well. They appear to be fabricated beams, with a corrugated web connecting the top and bottom plates. I guess this would make the web much more resistant to buckling for a given web thickness. Must be lighter for a given strength.
