I believe this is the internet site we looked at with my day job. We came to the following conclusion before we actually tried to use it so take with a grain of salt.
Well if you are the lowest bidder out of everybody on there what are the chances of making any money.

I recall reading a lot about it at another forum I frequent.
Fairly long thread – 17 posts. With several guys that had tried it. From my read, not too much of it was complimentary.

Thanks for the responces and links.
Links read like I suspected someone wanting work did for free and someone wanting to charge fee's for you to do their work for free.
Wonder how many shops have been put out or almost put out of business using this service.
Certainly no one stepping up to praise service.

We tried a similar service looking for vendors, didn't have much luck. The quotes were often higher than the local guys, and the quality and delivery was no better. We finally found good people locally and stopped trying them. I didn't get a sense that it was a bidding war, if that is what you want to know.
