I'm looking for a source for seamless steel tubing, I tried Ebay but most of that is stainless which I don't need. The tube I need is 11/16 od, 9/16 od and 1/2 od with all of them having a .040 wall thickness. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try searching for DOM (drawn over mandrel) or hydraulic tubing. Parker stores carry hydraulic tubing.

Don't know how shipping affects you, but one of the best and traditionally cheapest sources has been Dillsburg Aeroplane Works. Just south of Harrisburg.

Still no website as far as I can find. I don't think they take credit cards either. But they do have a good catalog and i have always found them easy to deal with. They started out supporting airplane builders, as the name suggests, but now support race car & bike builders as well with some of the thicker tubing and supplies.

    Dillsburg Aeroplane Works,
    114 Sawmill Rd
    Dillsburg, PA 17019 (USA)
    Phone (717) 432-4589
Send 3 first class postage stamps for catalog.

DOM is usually weld tube, hydraculi tubing needs to be seamless tube. And Parker's price is high.
