I have a 1969 15x54 LeBlond Regal Servo Shift Lathe that has not been run for around 7 to 10 years. I plan on replacing all the lubricating and hydraulic oil, including the Servo Shift oil. I assume the inline filter should be replaced also. Does anyone know of a source for a reasonably priced filter? Knowing the prices that LeBlond Ltd. gets for their stuff, the filter will likely cost me as much as my lathe. I know there are LeBlond owners on the forum. Any suggestions or comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Tmac;

If you have the old brass puralator filter, Clean it up and use it.....The new replacement from LeBlond is a small, cheesy unit you have to install outside the housing.....I spent hours with phone calls and email to puralator with negative results.....Here's photos on mine.....(hope this works)

I bought "76" UNAX AW 68 oil for mine, probably same as Shell Rotella 68.....
