Takisawa TSL800D Gears?

I am looking at a Takisawa TSL800 14" lathe. It has the 30, 80 & 95 tooth gears only. Can anyone tell me what other gears are needed, or where I might be able to get them and how much?

Hi Ed,

Take a look at the manuals on Derek's site:

If you search this forum for Takisawa you'll find a number of threads, including a recent one showing Derek's completed lathe renovation.

The Takisawa parts seem somewhat thin on the ground here, but they are still in production in Taiwan so getting them might be just a question of hooking up with the right person overseas.

I have been looking for info on the same thing. I am getting ready to purchase a tsl 800 . But I'm unsure if I have all the gears. Please let me no if you come up with any info.
