I recently bought a 1995 Mazak V414 Mill. After further inspection I had found some damaged chip guard covers and one of the vise ways was pretty beat up. I was just wondering if it is still possible to run over the way damaged areas or if it something that I need to get replaced. Also for anyone familiar with this machine and the hinged chip covers that are supposed to be on the Y axis. They are pretty much not savable and I do not even know where to begin to look for something such as that or if anyone has a home fix for it any information is appreciated.
