Anyone with any experience with these, chime in. One will be up for sale soon and I would like to know a reasonable price to offer. Motor currently is off. I'm assuming it will need replaced, as it overheated and caught fire. Operator put out the fire by flooding it with coolant. Current owner was pleased with the machine but is downsizing due to reduced workload.

With having to replace the motor and the likely wear on it, I'd offer $1K, a bit more if the rotary table is thrown in. But I haven't bought a used manual machine in a while, so just going with gut pricing.

That machine appears to be very similar to my Webb 4VH, only a smaller model. It's even marked as a 2VH. The DRO appears to be an older model.

The missing motor is a specialized unit since it drives the variable sheave. The shaft and mount has to be correct for the machine. I'm guessing $500 to $750 for a new one from a dealer and that may even be low and used ones would be very scarce.

Given that, I'd pay no more than $600 to $750 for that mill. If the motor were present in good order, possibly up to $1,500 which is what I paid for my Webb.

That's just my opinion, however.
