made up this tool to disassemble an Aloris CA toolpost. it works great, but of course I found out this unit wasn't even that tight, and I could have just used a washer. well, better to have too much and not need it.. It's just a piece of 1/4 X 1" cold rolled welded to a coupling nut.
one thing, you do need to leave the nut loose, and keep loosening it as you go.
