I have an application where I want good control with torque and angle readouts. In the distant past I've been happy with Atlas Copco DC nutrunner tools for this. Last time I tried to contact a sales rep (phone and e-mail) it took a month to get a response, and that was after we had bought several of their tools.

I'm at a new place (and didn't keep the contact info), so going through the same game of leaving a voicemail and waiting for a response. I hate rewarding slow customer service, particularly with the cost of these tools.

Have any of you had good experiences with other brands of DC nutrunner type tools?

We mostly use Atlas Copco but I've used Deprag, Stoeger, and Weber in the past when Atlas Copco lead times couldn't meet our project timing. They all work fine.

Good luck - everybody in the automation business is slammed right now. We just ordered 14 drivers/controllers and 20 feeder bowls and lead times are starting to get long.
