Hello Gentleman,

I asked for aluminum extrusion design advice a little while ago. Took notes, did my homework and below are my revised designs.

-Tried to keep the thickness as uniform as possible.
-No closed screw holes.
-tounge ratios don't exceed 3:1, I believe

Images below are revised designs, one clean and one with dimensions. Please feel free to critique from a cost and ease perspective. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am hoping to do 6061 annealed so I can bend them into a rim. The deflection will surely be an item on the agenda in the future.

Tounge ratio on the double channel ar as you correctly less than 3:1, so at least it’s not a semi-hollow ( often easier to close the chambers and mill out after, ) the flat with screw bosses is only 4” so that’s not a hard push but there will be camber so the bearings should choke the flat to slow it down, other than that both look easily extruded, ( I’d aim 5mm bearings but the die designer will sort it,) nothing real bad on either extrusion
Mark
Wt per metre is cross sectional area x 0.00271 (HE 9)
