AMADA HA-500 rear clamp opening

Good afternoon guys!
fist post here and what a forum. its quite a mammoth amount of information.

I do have a problem and I suppose that's what leads a lot of people here.
i have the AMADA HA-500 horizontal saw and what its recently started doing is the rear clamp for holding the job has opened once the saw starts to come down...it should do this, but it should reclose to clamp the job.

so i turn it on, front clamp closed, rear closed. then press start and the rear clamp opens and should re shut so the job doesn't slip but it just stays open. the saw must be about 30 years old?

if anyone has one and has had this fault please could you assist and let me know what you did or if you have a manual as i have nothing here.

We have a HA250W that I am pretty familiar with. Do you have the switch in auto or manual? Are there any lights on the multi-cut lights (these are the error indicators).

Contact Amada, they should be able to email you the electrical/hydraulic schematics.
