"Amura" machine brand info

Hey,
Looking for some info on this brand. The machine I am looking at is a 1990, but in searching I have found only few C frame bed mills circa 2005 and literally nothing else from this maker. Other than those couple for sale I have no info on this brand at all. Anyone know the history or who would support them?

Amura Seiki cnc mill?
I've never heard of Amura or Amura Seiki, but google shows stuff for Amura Seiki.

Are we positive it's "Amura" and not "Amera"?

Amera Seiki is a brand of machine tools.

Nope, its AMURA alright. Could be Amura Seiki, but even so I can not find an actual manufacturers website or where it was purchased or something.

I used to run some Amura Seiki's. They were decent machines, box ways and pretty rugged. As far as parts and service, they were all Fanuc, so all you need is a good Fanuc guy to keep them going.

Amura is an older brand name. I wonder if they had a couple thousand machines in the USA.
