    Default Anilam / accurate scale

    Hi all

I have a faulty anilam scale which from what I can tell are re branded accurite scales. This sounds like a common problem and one that is expensive to replace with genuine scale.

Is there another scale that can be adapted to suit an anilam 450 display for less cost than a genuine?

many import glass scales work just fine , such as SINO . just be sure the plug is wired
    to suit your connection

Are you sure it is bad? I had to clean mine one time a few years ago when it started acting up.

The seals have perished from the machine being in storage so yes I think it might work if cleaned BUT it doesn't look like replacement seals are readily available so it wouldn't be long before the same issue arose.

Have you retrofitted a sino scale to an anilam / accurite display? I can get sino easily but my understanding is that different brands have different spacing / width on the etching so even if wired correctly the calibration won't be correct??

If sino can definately be used that would be great!

i'd just make sure it is the same 5v ttl square wave . not all acurite scales have the same
resolution, so be sure it is compatible w/ your existing scales.
