E bay is a good starting point, if you watch, you can get some pretty good buys. There is also the members here posting things every now and then, but if it's a good buy from a trusted member you better be careful during the frenzy!

Shars has a 20% off sale right now with some undisclosed restrictions. They sell mostly import stuff but also some name brands like Mitutuyo.
