Any idea how this screw-infested fixture was used?

I have no idea because there doesn’t seem to be any way to work on the contents. Can’t weld, braze, Drill, mill etc. in there, as far as I can see.

Looks like it was meant to mount on two rods or pins. So, guessing wildly, some sort of work/end stop for a specific job/fixture.

That'd be what I'd figure.

A repeat or multi-part run that justified making a little fixture so as to dummy-proof a compound angle on a part.

Makes a swell fishing weight, or a storage place for a couple screws that can be robbed out when you need them! :)
