could only guess, but looks like a lathe tool post, one with a dividing head other just angle divisions

The last photo is the protractor and vise holder for a comparator. I think that one is from a j&L.
They sell for high bucks.

The complete unit had a tailstock and this indexing head. They could be used on a No.2 surface grinder or the No. 13 cutter grinder. B&S made a similar indexing set that included a long base.
