APT boring head refurb

I recently acquired an APT boring head, 3".
I'd like to take it apart to clean and oil.
Does anyone here have any experience taking these heads apart and what should I be careful of? I use Starrett tool oil but maybe there is something better?

First of all, your location needs to appear in your profile. That's per the rules!

AFAIK, the APT head is a clone of Critereon. Remove all of the screws and turn the adjusting screw so that the bar holder moves away from the dial. Pretty simple.
