I think your proposal would not only create a massive burden for mods but would place them in the position of wartime mail censors.

A possible alternative might be to post a warning by name to those who begin just shitting on a thread with large numbers of posts doing nothing bur insulting another. Start with 24-hour "timeouts" if warnings are ignored, longer for repeat behavior AFTER several timeouts.

IMO it is only fair to warn first and although the behavior we are talking about is obnoxious and disrespectful to the other members it does not rise to a level demanding long term bans - YET.

I have worked fora machinists and non machinists. Most owners I have worked for were not machinists and they did not have to have the high level of machinist skills to run the shop-he knew enough about it and knew how to prosper. All of them did.

They needed to hire them and that he did very successfully he/them all.
