Probably totally obvious to 99% of you'all but I was in a salvage yard the other day and in the dude's office I saw a drill holder kind of thing with a bunch of shafts in it with sharp little points on them used to map out a drill pattern. What are they called? Drill center locator set brought nothing up on a search in the forums and the internet. Thanks much in advance for your time! I've got to map out a CAD for an adapter for a toyota 2JZ motor to a turbo 400 trans.

That is the exact thing I'm looking for! Came up with every trammel point center finder dowell ETC name I could think of! Thanks much Bill! Wayne

Yep there great for a whole bunch of things. Used with care - if there a good fit there surprisingly accurate. A lot more accurate than mesuring and remarking with a steel rule.
