Anyone know what a late ww2-early Korea era barber colman 16-16 hobber weighs? Serial 2947. Weights vary widely with age. This is a pretty standard machine.

4,000 - 4,500 I have a worn out Clark 5000 lb. forklift and it will lift them.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa- I'm not too sure about that- our type A has to weigh in at about 8500# or so. We have a 6000# shop lift and it won't even begin to lift that BC. A 16-16 has to weigh in at least as much as a type A. I'll check my 16-16 op manual and report back. Could be your relief valve is cranked all the way down, but . . . . Dan

16-16 weighs 6300# per the BC operators manual. A type A is 7300# so they did lighten then up!!

They probably had to save some cast iron for the 14-15. Differentials, hip hip hooray !

Its home. 1952 build. Very clean, Scraping marks barely visible on bed. About half the change gears. Assorted work arbors.
