Disconnect power for 5 minutes then try again. I am assuming there is no battery back-up in this unit.
Are the displays normal brilliance? The most common electronic failure in these units is the power supply, actually the capacitors in the power supply circuit. This tends to cause counting and display issues.
My Heidenhain unit (exact same model) has turned up the very same fault as yours. Did you manage to resolve your issue, if so did you find out what the fault is?
