I visited Edison's "Lab" in West Orange NJ and highly recommend it to all the members here. I was blown away seeing where he worked. THey do a great job preserving the site without sanitizing it. the machine shops look like they could be making chips in the morning. Great seeing so many of the machine tools that I have sold in the past. All first class stuff for their era. Don't miss the pattern shop and forge which are behind another building. the entire original complex of factory buildings was huge. One of the large Kahn buildings has been converted into residential loft apartments. great place
