Dear machinists,
I am in the process of the designing a wrist watch, and there is a specific design feature on many watches which I simply cannot understand how is possible to manufacture. Many watches have holes in the case for the spring bars that hold the straps. I've attached an image to the thread here if my description is a bit unclear.
Now, the question is - how are these holes made. For me it seems impossible to reach those places with an end mill. Is there some sort of super clever technique I don't know about?
I am asking not because I will manufacture my finished design myself, I would just like to know how it is possible.
Kind regards,
Frederik
