Hi everyone,
This is probably a rookie question but we have recently purchased a used CNC vertical machining centre that came with a few Cat50 collets with different tools. All of the collets are seized - set screws are seized and tools are seized inside of the tool holders. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the tools?

Thanks
Kevin

If the tools had a high torque, then they may have rotated slightly, and the set screw is now jambed. You may want to put the tool in an appropriate vise and drive the holder in the opposite direction to unload the set screw.

Pic required. Set screw holders are not collet holders.
