I am trying to hunt down a leadscrew nut for my Monoset T&C grinder.Could anyone steer me to a source? The nut casting has the number 7100472 stamped on the base , the thread is 5/8' Acme, 2 start , LH. I have made a few attempts to locate one in Australia with no success. There may be some company in the US with new/old stock.The leadscrew is serviceable but the nut has had a bunged up oil hole and is pretty well worn. The nut is for the cross slide screw on the grinding head table.
If all else fails I will make a new one but if a spare is available it would save a lot of mucking around.
