    Default Cincinnati Spare parts

I am trying to hunt down a leadscrew nut for my Monoset T&C grinder.Could anyone steer me to a source? The nut casting has the number 7100472 stamped on the base , the thread is 5/8' Acme, 2 start , LH. I have made a few attempts to locate one in Australia with no success. There may be some company in the US with new/old stock. The leadscrew is serviceable but the nut has had a bunged up oil hole and is pretty well worn. The nut is for the cross slide screw on the grinding head table.

If all else fails I will make a new one but if a spare is available it would save a lot of mucking around.

You might contact the eBay seller "mri_denver". They have lots of Cincinnati tool and cutter grinder parts, and I suspect (but have never asked) they have what's left of the old Morgan-Denver rebuilding outfit.

You might try "SEC Parts Service" in U.K.. Steve has been great in finding parts for my cinci items. I think he deals mostly in CNC though but you could give him a try. His prices are GREAT.

Look into injecting Moglice into the nut.
