Monarch wanted, approx 3 years ago, $1600 for a new nut and screw for my 12CK. Well, my Stressproof arrived at the house a while back and once it warms up I'll cut a new screw and then a new nut to match. I should be out about $100 between the steel and bronze.

I'm betting that price is for the set, screw and nut.
You can buy the screw stock and make your own nut. The 3rd party source would be your local tool & die shop, if they'd even bother.
