Good Afternoon!

I've had this lathe for almost a year and haven't had time or the need to get it up and running until now. I'm having issues determining the feeds settings I need to use:

. In this example, if I want to have a feed rate of 0.0015" per rotation, I have the various levers set to LCT1.
However, when I select the Y selector, the leadscrew doesn't turn. I pulled the gearbox open to take a look inside, and it doesn't look like there is a way to drive the leadscrew in the Y selection.

I know the lathe is filthy. I wanted to make sure everything works before spending time and money cleaning it up.

If you have one of these lathes, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

All works as expected. Leadscrew doesn't turn when not threading.

Its called a Colchester Triumph 2000,very nice machine...and still in production.
That is not correct.

The Triumph 2000 is great, yes.

But it's a different lathe now. And is named Triumph VS 2500.
(Variable speed)
