Id suggest the OP spends his pennies on a QC toolpost and a few holders to suit the lathe,rather than paying silly prices for Colchester bits.

My Clausing 5914 came with a lantern toolopost and a Dickson toolpost.
I could not get the Dickson to cut straight. Turned out that it had been bent in a machine tool crash, probably not the 5914, and there was no damage to it. Replaced Dickson with Aloris BXA, and this is what I generally use.
But I kept the lantern, and improved it a bit, because while lanterns are slow and fiddly to use, there are times that nothing else will work.
