Soon I will be collecting a Colchester Triumph 2000 around the last of the square head with a foot brake (correct me if I'm wrong). Can anyone tell me if these machines use UNC/UNF threads or Whitworth threads. The reason I'm asking is because I was going to lift the machine with a eye bolt in the bed, if that is the correct way?
My Colchester Mastiff is a late 70's machine and that has all whitworth threads.

My Harrison M300 is all metric from first build in 1972? to today. I think they were all part of the 600 group by then. The factory inch version is a weird metric/english lead screw. Something like 35mm diameter but 10-tpi. The metric one would be the same 35mm diameter but a metric thread spacing.
