Picked up an amazing piece of meal art over the weekend. I purchased a Continental Band Filer which has been converted into a band saw from a terrific gentle man who has decided to retire. So far my quest to find more information on these machines has been a challenge and hoping someone on here can help out. Does anyone have any printed material on these machines? Searching for what an original color might have looked like. Was the speed adjustment knob or belt tensioner knob painted or chrome. Etc. thanks for reading. Please reach out if you have any input I sure would be glad to hear it.

I do like Art Deco or is it at Nuevo designed machines, vintage machinery might have the manuals, I know the do all band file ( a terrifying belt of doom) had special guides etc, I used one once and didn’t like it much, abrasive belts are much better that catapiller files
