Convert an L-2 Spindle to A2-5 Spindle

Have a lot of tooling for A2-5 Spindle but my Hardinge Conquest 42 has died unfortunately. Would like to use the tooling on my other lathe but it has an L-2 Mount. Bought an L-2 Face Plate but can't find where to buy the A2-5 Adapter to convert. Any ideas?

You MAKE such things - the L2 "faceplate" (or other suitable piece of iron that goes on your L2 spindle nose) will have to be turned into a A2-5 spindle nose. Drawings will be found in ASA/ASME B5.9 Spindle Noses

Drilling the four mounting holes is no problem, but not sure how to make an accurate taper. Was hoping I could buy the adapter.
