Denmark Coronavirus: 2,555 Cases and 72 Deaths - Worldometer

As I mentioned in an earlier post several of those (especially elderly) were already seriously ill and got a "shove" from the corona virus. Their deaths are registered as "corona deaths" so I'm not completely sure what the correct fatality number is re those that have died solely from and because of the virus.

Long story short. Anyone not taking the virus very seriously is mad.
so let's not count the over 80's as they would have died soon anyway.
also not the ones with heart problems, the diabetics, smokers etc. etc. as they all would have died anyway.
so let's only count those that would lived forever but have now died due to the virus.....

I must be disagreeing with you. And since the subject was voting in the US, doesn't seem valid to me to point out what Denmark does ... over here, I think a bicameral legislation was a well-thought out feature of government. And I fail to see how what's good for the feds can be illegal for the states.

I just want to point out to the Right-tards that there's a lot more your boys have done to limit or discourage legitimate voting than has been done by the very few illegals who have managed to slip a fraudulent vote in. But that's par for the course, eh?

As of yet I haven't heard of any infection nexuses from that pastor, but I expect them to come. Louisiana has some major hot spots, won't be a shock if there'll be more coming.

Instead of using "point out" you could have gone with "informing" but then that wouldn't be you. All the Scandinavian countries have as good as the same system. Must admit though I'm never sure what flag you're going to be waving when you post.

To the original question asked in this thread, here is a story from 40 miles from where I live regarding a chorale my wife sang in until 2 years ago and my wife knew two of the deceased and one survivor whom she talked to this morning. For those who chose not to open the link or cannot open it, it reports on a choir practice March 10 in Skagit County (50 miles north of Seattle) in which 60 folks participated and 45 of whom got corona virus. 2 have died so far. My wife's friend, a bright nurse, did not realize the sniffles and then more symptoms she got a few days after practice were in fact Covid as she continued to be in contact with a lot of other people. A text from the director a few days after practice advised her of the likely diagnosis. She never was actually tested due to inadequate numbers of tests being available and she was not severely ill. But all those who were tested were positive.

Choir practice turns fatal. Coronavirus is to blame - Los Angeles Times

My take is that this virus is wildly contagious and too often fatal. If anything, I am certain that this country is not overreacting. The only virus I know of that is equally or more contagious is measles and that is saying something!

Phht! DENMARK the brain-dead even get to troll on PM. CHINA they get put on Pee are Sea Propaganda Ministry payrolls to spread misinformation on PM.

The cynical Chinese don't believe that "Bu Ci" any more than WE trust Komrade Goldbrick:

No end to the foolishness of be-you-rock-rats, though.

PITTSBURGH, they even called me late Mum for Jury duty!

Not only deceased, she'd first moved out of the state. And then... were NOT going to take her off the rolls on the usual Executor's copy of the Death Cert and Letters Testamentary. They wanted THEIR "special forms" filled out.

Told 'em it wasn't Virginia's problem - it was an Allegheny County issue.

Her remains having been returned to her childhood area for interment? Gave them the plot number over at Uniondale Cemetary so they could take it up with her directly and go ahead and empanel her. Or arrest her for failure to appear. Whichever.

After several months in a coffin already, I was sure that by then she'd appreciate a break in the boredom.

Did warn them to expect a "hung" jury, came time to vote on a verdict. Mum was notoriously contrarian whilst alive - not expected to have changed.

Could have rung her-up... well "down"... as the phone company had refused to cancel her service without her entering a "pin number" on the internet plain-black-rotary-dial no-computer-she never knew she had.

They did agree a MOVEMENT order could be done without a PIN number.

So, house having sold, I ordered the phone line moved to her coffin.

Warned she might run-up dreadfully costly non-stop-talking "long distance" bills, then be slow-pay.

They cancelled rather than take that risk.

Egalitarian Denmark? She'd have had her telephone, yah? Can't be seen to have been discriminated against.

You'd have to know Telco's and "regulators"?

Here in Spain we have lived in house arrest for 17 days.

As I predicted for about a week, during this weekend the rate of infection *increase* has essentially stopped, between fri-sunday.
Likewise, death rate has +/- stablised, 755/830/830 give or take a dozen.
Around 8000 new infections per day detected.

For the first time ever in history, in Spain, here everyone obeys the quarantine very well.
    Similar to china.

The point is that 8k infections are not *new* infections.
They are new *detections* of infections that happend 1-2 weeks ago.

The public nr of detections is still going up, due to more testing and more serious hospital cases, but not the actual *real* nr of new infections.
With a 10-12-14 day lag in infections vs data.

So the "seen" or detected infection rate will stay about the same for 10-14 days.
Almost-all infections at the current 8k rate will be familiars and/or healthcare workers or people similarly exposed.

After that period, the nr of new infections will drop extremely rapidly, like off a cliff.

Within about 14 days all the current infected will be cured (a small % will be dead).
And there will be near-zero new infections for new people, after 14/4/2020 +/-.

The ones who were going to be infected, got it, and the rest wont get it or don´t get it or are asymptomatic or effectively immune.
About 40-60% seem to have no symptons.

99.6% of people upto 50 in age are ok, and for healthy vigorous non-smokers that is == 99.8-99.9%%.
Upto 20 years in age, I believe less than 10 have died, of 600 k, leading to 1/100.000 = 0.0001 death rate.

It is terrible that so many in the US got it, and/or may likely get it.
Just like in Spain, where the % of infection is high.

I wish all our US members good health, and good luck, and hope You can keep mentally ok.
It is very hard to be locked in.

For me, as a vet from the Finnish air force (SF,technical) it is a bit less onerous mentally, since I lived for near one year in close confinement.
Almost all finnish males went through a 8 month or 11 month military conscription.

But my wife and child did not .. so I need to be extra understanding .. and do so to the very best of my ability.

Anyone and everyone can survive 1 month locked in.
Have courage and try to keep a positive attitude.
It is much better than the alternatives.
