Likewise, as you just prove my point.

Yes, I recognized those for hoaxes from the beginning. They were so amateurish and obvious- who could possibly take them seriously? The record proves me out.

CNN and NBC are no different than People's Daily- they are just the propaganda arms of different parties. You an EG are the same, in that you both parrot the disinformation as gospel truth.

January-February, in the middle of the impeachment, Trump saw the threat and acted. Democrats and the media were completely oblivious. Trump had already placed the travel restrictions, and other than calling him a racist for it, all the media could talk about was whether or not John Bolton would be subpoenaed.

I've never seen such a single-minded obsession in my life.

It's not that Trump doesn't say stupid things. He obviously does say stupid things. But he doesn't do very many stupid things- at least when it comes to the important ones- which means he listens to the right people. Mostly. He's pissed off a lot of generals for his desire to get US troops out of the wars. But on this virus, he's listened to Fauci and Birx, and not once has he over-ruled them on anything related to the health and safety of Americans.

Milland, you think that Trump is not capable of doing something right. So everything he does must be wrong. That is not a rational position. Sometimes he gets it right, sometimes he doesn't. No different than anyone else.

They are desperate for djt to be the white savior. That's what's driving their madness. They just could not stand the fact that a black man (who is half-white, ffs) was President before the current "president".

The US is getting close. We have this purposeful patchwork of what various State and the Federal governments do. Driver's licenses (or just ID's provided by motor vehicle agencies for non-drivers) used to be the de-facto identification for air travel, showing age, verifying credit cards, etc.. However, there were so many differences from state to state that around 2005 a "real ID" act was passed that required states to tighten up the verification process.

Fast forward to today and a US passport turns out to be the easiest way to get a California driver's license that's Real ID compliant. A birth certificate can also be used, but mere birth registrations many hospitals provided apparently won't do.

Here's what's typically required for that ID:

    • Proof of identity: Original or certified copy of a birth certificate filed with the state office of vital records with a raised/embossed seal — issued by an authorized government agency — or valid, unexpired U.S. Passport or passport card.
    • Proof of Social Security number: Social Security card.
    • Two proofs of current, physical address (if applicable): Examples include current, unexpired PA license or ID, PA vehicle registration, auto insurance card or utility bill with the same name and address.
    • Proof of all legal name changes: Certified marriage certificate, court order, or divorce decree issued by your county's family court.

bit of a tangent, but this really bothered me.

I just read Theresa Tam, our Chief Public Health Officer earlier recommended against having all travelers from COVID-19 hot zones self-isolate for 14 days as she didn't want to see communities stigmatized. WTF in 200 point text? People are going to die because health policy is driven by her concern for "feelings". Even if that merited consideration, she should be giving health advice based on whats best from a medical viewpoint. For me, that flushes her credibility and really damages how much we can trust these wankers.

And this the science person making the puppets lips move.

Sigh, and you guys think you have a leadership crisis. Its just so embarrassing. Guess we'll just have to rely on the ski instructor (PM) and graphics designer (Min of Health) to get us through this.

The virus isn't "tearing through" Europe. Italy, Spain and the UK are having huge problems but most countries are managing reasonably well all thing considered. Unlike US states most countries in Europe have closed their borders and in my own country most are behaving sensibly and avoiding as much contact with others as possible.

For some it will get worse before getting better but a few countries seem to be in control. At least as much in control as it's possible to be in control.

2020 coronavirus pandemic in Europe - Wikipedia

Of the Nordic countries Sweden is the country that has done least and it looks as if it's now making them wake up. It's better with a relatively short time with many personal restrictions than a lengthy time with a major virus spread.

My son (in Norway) was with someone that had the virus so he and his family were put in quarantine for 2 weeks. Thank God they've now all got the "all clear".

Coronavirus: How countries across the globe are responding to COVID-19
It is tearing through most of the EU then. At any rate it is wise and helpful for y’all to bow out of American politics and set your attention to the pandemic. Lives are at stake.

We were slow to test. We did contact tracing and self-quarantine. We were first in drive-thru testing at the UW, so Seattle (the epicenter) got more testing than the outlying areas, but it was still too little.

I don't call it a lousy job, they worked with what they had at the time. We kept the virus somewhat at bay, but it didn't last. And we are testing a lot more now, so case counts are going back up.

The major concentration is in 3 counties in the Puget Sound basin. King, Pierce, and Snohomish, where we have the highest population density. But it's everywhere, at lower-levels statewide.

    This is the situation here:

Focus on your own families and citizens. You divert attention and blame from your crisis onto America. Just give it a rest and come back after you guys can get things better off.

How is Spain doing? I did not see all of the numbers I usually see. Han told us it was showing a notable turning of the current course.

No, we DIDN't vote for her. We voted for the guy who promised to peel extra layers off the bureaucracy/regulation onion that were strangling the economy and we will vote for him again. You can have your aging Bolshevik and the addled bullshit artist, although it's looking like Angry Andy will be plugged in as the candidate.

And when you say "white" what you really mean is the people you consider subhuman donkeys. Talk about racist!

Instead we got the traitor. What a revolting development.

BTW, I hope we all make it through this and live good, long lives after CV19 is dealt with. You, me, and even djt. I want to be around for the entire time he's in prison once a proper investigation is done, after you lose the Senate. That should take me to a hundred or more...

"Catch up in the back." Already HAS. No "quarantine" required.

Mind. Damned short DRIVE, latest excuse in a long decline most of the masochistic snowflakes had for their journey!

"Suicide on the installment plan" it seems.

    DJT ain't the problem.
