Yep. And 100,000 ventilators in the warehouse, and a couple hundred million masks and gowns and respirators...

It's strange that politicians wouldn't vote to spend money on something that they don't think we will ever use...

Trump should snap his fingers and make all this materialize ASAP!!!

    Go figure.
And an important distinction for both influenza and COVID-19 is whether the patient died WITH the disease or died FROM it. In the first case it means a patient with other potentially fatal conditions died and the disease was found to be present and in the second case the disease was the only probable cause of death.

If you look deep enough into "flu deaths" you discover that all actually died of "flu-like" illnesses and only in some cases was it laboratory confirmed as an influenza.

What we HAVE is the real knowledge of what was NOT happening HERE - competent leadership with foresight understanding the breadth of the crisis and acting accordingly.

Instead, we got weeks of stupid bravado about how only a few people in the US would get it, and the rest would magically get allll-better if we just waited out.

So stupid a response. So incompetent. So djt. Everything that you and yours seem to love about him. Yeah, we heart the USA, that's why we want it to burn!

Great job, djt voters. You're getting your wish.

Oooh, China did it again ! Big bad China always at fault, "can't trust their data, they are just trying to scare us into wrecking our economy !"

So, don't believe the unreliable China data. From nothing, never-before-seen virus, end of December until March 1, virus identified and contained. That's two whole months. I was here, wandering around, so don't bother with your retarded "deceitful reporting" shit. I HAVE SMARTPHONE PHOTOS.

What have you done in the same amount of time ? First US case January 20 (worldometer site.) You've now had ten days longer than China took to smash this thing. You haven't even started. In fact, you went right to the top, with a bullet ! Gonna be numbah one, for a long long time ! 200,289 cases as of this moment and on a train track to the stars ! 4,394 deaths, just like the flu, nothing to worry about, to heck with that unreliable China data, we'll get our own !

So now you got your own. You've had ten days longer than China took to stomp it entirely. We'll ignore the head start you had, from Germany handing out the protocol even before you had the first case. What have you done, oh brilliant data-driven one ?

At least you didn't take any draconian measures, I guess. That's something to be proud of. Maybe you can make bronze plaques to put on the graves of the dead people.

Right. They'd much rather piss it away on trillions of dollars to Goldman-Sachs or stock buybacks or 800 billion a year to a navy that's mostly good for ramming cargo ships and shooting down airliners.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. You've made stupid stupid choices for the past forty years, now it's biting you in the ass. You deserve it.

This is the most impressive display of karma I have seen in my life.

I am not defensive of China. I object to lies. Stupid lies are even worse. This unending flow of shit from jancollc's mouth is offensive.

Just look at the facts. China, two months, disease stopped, 80,000 people, 3500 deaths. Pretty big deal, I thought.

But no. US, with two months head start, driven by imbeciles, now 200,000 sick 4,500+ dead on a rocket to the moon and it's "China's fault !"

It's disgusting. Always someone else's fault, you know ? Just disgusting.

Just like the stupid invasion of Iraq, ALL LIES and here we go again … somebody to take it out on, can't be our own fault no never … Can anyone in the US recognize the truth anymore ? Is the whole place entirely fucked up mentally ?

lol, its km of course and was just momentary to get a fun shot, the risk is too high being caught .........had the clear road and kept to 150 as over that is when they get really nasty. I will say cars are moving, highway traffic around the golden horse shoe is probably 130-140 now, at least to the left. Its good thing imo, today's cars and trucks are pretty capable considering the buckets of bolts the original road design and speed limits were intended for....but as you point out, unfortunately the 'man' doesn't see it that way

I think and hope after this we're going to see a lot less cars on the road. E learning, working from home are going to be couple carry overs imo.

Lol. I guess you were "triggered" by the Fox URL.

Blame it on Australia's media. The story aired on their "60 Minutes" show, just a few days ago.

Maybe you're angry that Fox picked it up and not your preferred "news"?

Don't know, don't care. Just the messenger.

Pretty sure there was more than one doctor in Wuhan...

Ai, the director of the emergency unit at Wuhan Central Hospital, told a magazine in March that she had been harshly reprimanded by Chinese authorities for telling the world that the novel coronavirus could spread globally if China did not act. She shared a picture of a patient reporting a SARS-like coronavirus on WeChat, China's most popular messaging app used by more than 1 billion people.

The image Ai shared went viral and eventually made its way to Dr. Li Wenliang, the whistleblower doctor who tried to issue the first warning about the deadly coronavirus but was painted by China's propaganda machines as a liar who didn't know what he was talking about.

Police ordered him to stop "making false comments."

Li eventually contracted the coronavirus while working at Wuhan Central Hospital and died on Feb. 7.
The irony , you are always going on about "dogma"- but when a new piece of information comes out that contradicts what you already "know", you fly into fits of rage....

Stupid crap. The lady can't go off on her own for a week, has to call in to Faux News every day so they don't worry she's disappeared ?

More fucking crap from the home of fucking crap.

So much for the news, Milland. If they had two cents' worth of honesty I'd agree with you but as it is ...

Looks like you Milland are wrong.

“ Ai Fen hasn't been seen for days and some fear she could be the latest high-profile person critical of Beijing's handling of COVID-19 to disappear without a trace, "60 Minutes, Australia" reported.

Ai rose to fame as the first doctor to notice a cluster of patients with intense flu-like symptoms in Wuhan, more than a month before Chinese officials were forced to confirm the outbreak.”

    Here is a "twisted" thought.

For the past umpteen years, around 1000 Americans have died on our highways each week. I can only imagine the world wide statistic.
Thanks to the confinement edicts, that number should plummet for the duration. The victims are mostly those in the prime of life or even younger .

Covid-19 is taking it's greatest toll on the aged population.

We might see a positive BLIP in overall longevity. Take from the old, give to the young!

    Figure that one out ;-)
