I personally started a whole new thread with videos. I'm not sure where it went, somebody in mod/admin must not like it. This is real. It has shut almost everything that I rely on. I thought the videos could give a second message.

It’s March 28 and as reported to me by an emergency room physician in a major Maryland hospital center.
It takes ten days to get a testing report back for Covid infection.
    Ten days.

There is no possibility that case spread can be controlled at this return time.
    None.

Not a solution just protection. Gonna wear that mask for the rest of your life?
If herd immunity is the answer are you in truth better off to catch it before the hospitals are full and overrun?
Right now you can get help and a bed, a month from now maybe not.

So here's my prediction - US ends up with over 500,000 cases and a death rate similar to Italy.

I think I'll put $5 on this one ... anybody from Vegas here ?

NY has been limiting the testing to save tests and PPE since 20th march: COVID-19: Information for Providers - NYC Health

I would be willing to bet that NY alone has now over 500k actual cases but there is no way to verify that.

During last week 40 to +80 percent tested are positive in NY
    https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/down...9-data-map.pdf

During worst part of the epidemy in Korea they got 10% of the tested positive. NY is getting 80% positives in some districts

Are they sending the test to Antarctica for analysis? Who's running this shit show??

The alleged 15 minute test kits have to be ramped up and shipped ASAP, we need multiple producers and to get them fast tracked to the hospitals and hot spots.

Whoa. Looks like New York City has a chance to beat Italy, all on its own. That's impressive.

The good side is, it will be over pretty quickly. If it's that widespread then everyone in the city has been exposed so they'll either come down or get better within the next couple weeks.

That's the hard method, imo. But I guess it will work.

Bazzer is a UK nickname for Barry. Like Johnny for John etc.
How is that even going CLOSE to the N word?

Yet you call The Don the orange Popsicle or mango Mussilini or whatever names suit you?

I was hugely disappointed at Obama because of the two reasons i gave - Auswitch was kinda big deal and so was Charlie Hebdo attacks.

Nice quote from the guy who's obsessed with defending a president he'll never vote for, against people who live in the country that's affected by Dear Leader's actions (inactions, ignorance, racism, corruption, and general depravity).

Oh, and congratulations on being able to count to "4", I'm sure it's a stretch but with some effort you can go higher. And I'll be happy to supply more posts for you to rate as you wish.

Now, run along. We actually have a country to try to save from Nero, and frankly his fiddle playing was on my nerves even before he bungled the current crisis.

Yeah - if those are your only 2 choices.

I'm betting on the case where we keep the growth low enough/build resources fast enough to keep ahead of the curve. At the same time spend a metric shitload on research into an effective vaccine that may have some initial side-effects but at a lesser rate/lesser impact than the virus itself. So less than perfect multiple solutions adding up to getting on top of this.

Going to be at least until mid May IMO before we know how we're going what with the incubation period and need to ramp up testing. Until then I'm minimising my personal movements. Easy for me of course - I live on a few acres and do nearly all my work remotely unless I'm actually in big Govt run testing/screening labs.
