Hello!
Newbie here w/a recently purchased Jet mill w/broken reverse clutch knob and rod.
I have replaced with new parts and wondering what kind of grease to pack in the cavities I had to access while dissassembleing the head.
They had dried up red grease that to me resembled wheel bearing grease.
Hoping someone here might have one of these units and set me on the correct path as to what type lube to pack these spaces with as I do not think the open bearing system allows for flow to these areas.
The mill is a one owner machine from a small engine shop and was used for balancing pistons. The ways appear as new and it is in very good condition.
