I’ve been asked to make spare washers for a diesel compression tester. The washer goes between the test adapter and the head.
The sample piece looks like a nylon.
I was wondering if copper, aluminum, or brass could be substituted. I don’t have any nylon drops laying around and it’s a 10 pc job .
Part is 5/8 od, 3/8 I’d, 1/8 thick.
Customer did not give tolerance or material spec. Just a farmer asking to make it work.
Picture available by email, I couldn’t get it load in mobile .
