Crush washer material suggestion for diesel compression tester

I’ve been asked to make spare washers for a diesel compression tester. The washer goes between the test adapter and the head.

The sample piece looks like a nylon.
I was wondering if copper, aluminum, or brass could be substituted. I don’t have any nylon drops laying around and it’s a 10 pc job .

Part is 5/8 od, 3/8 I’d, 1/8 thick.
Customer did not give tolerance or material spec. Just a farmer asking to make it work.

Picture available by email, I couldn’t get it load in mobile .

PEEK, or annealed copper. PEEK is a strong, high-temp plastic that should be useable over and over as long as the mating surfaces are reasonably smooth. Copper is a standard, but can work harden with repeated uses.

Or, just buy some spark plugs that have the formed steel crush washer of the right diameter and use them.

[Yes, I know diesel's don't use spark plugs, but many use glow plugs of roughly the same size]

If copper, it probably doesn't have to be that thick. You could make the material by using a piece of water line.
