    Default Devlieg End Measuring Rods

I purchased these sort of off a novelty but was wondering if they might have any use... The most practical thing I could see these being useful for would be standards for micrometers. Does anyone have a set that they find useful, is it something worth hanging on to?

Old technology, before digital read outs. Used on jig bores and such to accurately move the table. I use them today on a jig bore.

Looks like these are in VG condition. From my own point of view, I'd keep them, as I would for most calibration standard items. They may be capable of calibrating your stuff to more decimal places than are required for the particular work you do, but to me it is satisfying to attempt to work to a high standard of accuracy even though the job may not need it. I think the keep or sell test is whether chasing excess accuracy is losing money for you, but even that is not always a straightforward decision.

Might be interested if you decide to sell....
