I found a Doall 1242T 9 x 42 vertical milling machine for sale. Trying to find out if it’s worth possibly buying it. Seems to be in very good condition. It has a nice Anilam Wizard 411 dro installed. Comes with a good Kurt Vise. Practically new Baldor 2hp single phase motor. Machine has Servo table feed and spindle boring feed. I’ll be just doing basic keyway cutting and machining nothing fancy. I can buy it for $2000.00. Does anyone know if these machines were pretty well built. I’d love a Bridgeport but can’t justify the cost of a good solid one. I’m pretty sure there are no replacement parts to be found for Doall Mills is what concerns me the most. Any advice greatly appreciated.
