End Mills

Hello!

Where do you like to purchase your end mills from? What features of quality standards do you seek? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

For my home shop, I go to ENCO. 99% of the time, I use one of 3 sizes: 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2. Those are generally the cheapest endmills out there. If I need another size, I order is. Most of the time, they are 4 flute, double end, center cutting mills. I don't buy roughers, I find another way to hold the part and use my insert face mill. Don't generally get coated mills either. I'm very low budget

Our cutter resharp guy makes them for us, they work great.
Runout and endmill life are what I look for in a variable helix 4 flute endmill
