Excello 602 back gear

I just went to look at an absolutely gorgeous 602. The machine is being sold by a wholesaler who got it from a long time customers estate and doesn't know anything of the machines history. Only problem is that as I was checking everything out it wouldn't go into low gear.

Turns out the entire back gear assembly is m.i.a. The owner was gracious enough to allow me to do a bit of disassembly. It appears the both of the gears on the spindle shaft are in good shape. No obvious signs of why it was removed.

Could anybody point me towards a place to get a back gear assembly, or even better, have one they would be willing to part with? Depending on what I could get the assembly for the machine may still be a good investment.

From what I found there is a guy in Canada that purchased all the Excello parts from the factory, he shows up on ebay every now and again. I'll try and find his info but expect exceptionally high prices. I remember the quill return spring was over $125.00

Excello 602's are junk, what was the name of the guy selling it again?
