Union manual boring mill

I just started at a company that has an older WMW union mill
I have absolutely no information on I don't even have the model number all I have is an S/N#25573 was shipped here leveled and idle ever since there no oils in it power should be connected next week
I'm trying to find any manual's operation maintenance anything will help

The " Tony's Lathes " site has several " Union " Hor bore manuals for sale. When you discover which one you have maybe he can help you. Going off the weight I'd say that looks like an 80 Mm spindle machine.

" Union " machines were ok and probably the best of the Eastern European Hor bores but they weren't in the same league as " Kearns-Richards " or " Giddings & Lewis " etc.

Nothing wrong with your eyesight John. However if you're referring to the 80/2 numbers at the bottom of the plate I assumed that was the date of manufacture.
Most machine weighing in at that weight will have a 3.5" spindle or thereabouts.
