Are feeds/speeds for turning inserts typically on the back of the box?

Can't seem to find feed/speed info for most inserts on the manufacturers website aside from Sandvik but not always. I know some manufacturers give starting points for different materials on the back of the box, but do all/most as well?

Carboloy did also and still does I believe. Kennametal did not up until the point where I stopped being in the loop on them. Not sure on any others.

speeds/feeds should be a starting point . they are not written in stone. certainly not on the box.
i suppose they presume you're a machinist , and will have a clue what to do.

situation, setup , ect ,other factors preside....HOWEVER...common sense should be a factor if "it ain't working" .

For some of the complex insert geometries they have a recommended range... It isn't like they say only run this particular feed or else. While I never paid them a whole lot of attention either, I can see how it might be nice on an unfamiliar material and/or insert geometry/coating to have a starting range.
