Finally got down to making some chips in my shop. Worked for 35 years in other folks shops, finally got a place of my own. Little South Bend 13(serial number says between 1937 and 1940 model) and a Bridgeport clone mill. Got the drawbar in for the mill, finished tweets for that, swept in the head, cleaned off the table real well, installed the vise, then went about modifying the tee nut to mount the QCTP for the South Bend. Lots of little projects remain to get everything squared away, organized, and powered up. But chips have hit the floor!
Now, if I can post pictures from my phone to this, I’ll prove it.

One of the percs of being in a family company is always having access to the tools, but some days you just got to get physically away from the chaos that pays the bills. That was the driving reason I put a few machines in my garage. It's a space to work on things and not worry about them being in the way in the morning, and there are some evenings I like to just make a bar of material disappear. Better than TV IMO.
