I am looking for specific tolerance info that is apparently shown in the JIS B 1702 standard for gear manufacturing. I am hoping for some specific numbers that are apparently resident in this standard, with respect to the accuracy of manufactured gears that we are buying from Misumi. I'll ask Misumi in any case, but I was hoping to get independent info as well.
What I see in the Misumi catalog is reference to both JIS B 1702 Class 5, and JIS B 1702-1 Class 9, for earlier and then later versions of the same helical gear. My specific interest is in knowing the bore concentricity to pitch circle diameter tolerance (I think), essentially the runout spec.
If any of you "gear guys" have any info you can provide, that would be greatly appreciated.
