Below is a link to a reference text with practical engineering knowledge. It's compiled by the Gas Processors Suppliers Assoication of Tulsa, OK and is centered about technical data for the design of equipment used in the natural gas processing industry (my professional field). It contains much for which the average machinist or machine designer has no applicable use, but also good information on fluid flow in piping, compressors & pumps, heat exchangers, thermodynamics, burners, filtration and many other topics which may be useful in the course of the Practical Machinist's career.
It's no bedside reader, unless you have insomnia, but IMO worth perusing.
